About
My Father in Law has dementia and for the past 18 months I (and more recently my husband) have been his primary carer(s).
He gets confused
He gets forgetful
He gets lost
He gets frustrating
We see him on a daily basis, and every day he has done something that, if we didn’t maintain a sense of humour, could drive us to tears. Instead we chose to see the funny side.
This is my account of living with a dementia sufferer from a humourous perspective.
It is written TONGUE FIRMLY IN CHEEK
